Out in Africa Tours is a company, which offers custom planned holidays to Southern Africa. With this company I have a long history, which involves website and newsletter development, internet marketing, training and consultancy, starting when I owned Blue Balloons. When I started working for NoSuchCompany they initially asked another company to build their own website. When this did not work out, they asked me to take a look at the website. I wrote a report on how the website could best be created. This report focussed on two specific areas, which were 1) usability 2) SEO. |

Based on the report that was written for Out in Africa Tours on how to improve their website, a new website was designed by the communication agency NoSuchCompany and developed using a complex Content Management System by Huss. During this development phase I was the senior project manager and responsible for:
- project set-up and co-ordination
- budgetting
- quality assurance
- IT consultancy

NEWSLETTER

After the website had been redesigned a new newsletter template was also created for Out in Africa. Based on this template they are able to send a periodical newsletter without any involvement from the communication agency using newsletter software developed by Huss - the company that also provided the Content Management System for the website.
